Inherited Forms

Latch's form editor allows a form to inherit fields from another form by name.

Use a comma-delimited list to inherit from multiple forms:

SomeForm, InheritMeToo, AnotherFormNameHere

After changing this setting, save and reload the form editor to see newly inherited fields.

Inherited fields are denoted with a special background color and the "INHERITED FIELD" label in the editor.

Inherited fields come from their parent form. Edit the parent form to rename, configure, or delete them.

You can rearrange inherited fields in the inheriting form, including placing them inside groups, without affecting the parent form.
