Draft Pages

If you have experience with other content management systems, you may be familiar with "draft" and "published" post states.

Latch handles this through Read Permissions.

For a page or content form, set Read Permissions to the role or permission required to view the post. To keep a page private while you work on it, set Read Permissions to:

Administrator

Only Administrators will be able to view it until you change the permission list.

This approach is more flexible than a simple draft/published toggle because you can restrict content to any role or permission.

Read permissions also determine whether a page can appear in content search results.

If no Read Permissions are set, the post is treated as public.
